Why take electrolytes as a capsule?

You take the capsule with water or a sports drink. It adds electrolytes, mainly sodium. It does not change the taste or the carbs of what you drink. That suits long efforts where flavour fatigue sets in.

What is the ginger for?

GU adds ginger root. Ginger is long linked to settling the stomach. That can be welcome on long or hard endurance sessions. The capsules also add vitamin D and B6.

Is it sugar-free?

Yes. The electrolyte capsules have no sugar. The carbs sit in GU's gels and drink mixes instead.

Is it tested for banned substances?
