What data is collected
Certwell does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Standard server logs may record IP addresses, pages visited, and browser type as part of normal web hosting. These logs are not used to identify individuals and are not shared with third parties.
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to collect aggregate, anonymous usage statistics. Plausible does not set cookies, does not retain personal data about visitors, and does not build user profiles.
Cookies
Certwell does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Some third-party retailer sites you visit through Certwell links may set their own cookies — their privacy policies apply once you leave this site. Affiliate networks (including the Amazon Associates Programme) may set cookies on the destination retailer’s site to attribute a purchase to Certwell; this happens after you leave Certwell and is governed by that retailer’s privacy policy.
Third-party links and affiliate relationships
Certwell links to external retailers and certification bodies. These sites have their own privacy policies. Certwell is not responsible for the data practices of any third-party site.
Certwell is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk. Certwell may also participate in other affiliate programmes operated by retailers or affiliate networks. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, the retailer or network shares limited attribution data with Certwell (such as the fact that a sale occurred and its value) so that a commission can be paid. Certwell does not receive your name, address, or payment details.
